On August 20–21, at the 2026 South China Advanced Technology Forum on New Energy and New Power Systems in Shenzhen, TÜV Rheinland presented its highest institutional honor—the inaugural “Excellence in Quality” award—to Samil Ouyang, Chairman of SAJ Electric, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to quality-driven development and globalization in the new energy sector.
Hosted by TÜV Rheinland Greater China and supported by multiple government bodies and industry associations, the forum gathered over 800 representatives from government, research institutes, and the industrial chain to discuss compliance for overseas expansion, key technologies for new power systems, and intelligent transformation.
The “Excellence in Quality” award, newly established by TÜV Rheinland, marks its first-ever presentation. Chairman Ouyang’s selection as the inaugural recipient underscores SAJ Electric’s long-standing commitment to premium quality. Amid tightening overseas market access, carbon footprint tracking, and lifecycle compliance, the company continues to align with global standards, reinforce R&D and quality systems, and empower Chinese new energy equipment to go global.
At the roundtable “Fusion and Breakthrough: Technological Iteration, Global Landscape, and Future Directions,” Chairman Ouyang joined TÜV Rheinland experts to exchange insights on technology roadmaps, regional practices, and compliance strategies.
