Since its establishment, SAJ Lab has successfully hosted several installer training sessions in Harare, bringing together local installers, distributors and technical partners for structured, hands-on learning and in-depth technical exchange. These sessions are designed to build practical skills around SAJ’s latest energy storage and drive technologies, encourage peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, and strengthen local capacity to design, install and maintain reliable solar and energy management systems that meet the region’s growing demand for stable, sustainable power.
During the trainings, participants gained practical experience with SAJ's all-in-one energy solution CHS2 and VFD (variable frequency drive), including system configuration, commissioning procedures, and real-world application scenarios. The sessions focused on improving installation efficiency, system reliability, and troubleshooting skills, helping installers better support their customers in the field.
SAJ Lab serves as a regional hub for knowledge sharing, technical empowerment and ongoing professional development. By working closely with local installers, engineers, distributors and project developers, we aim to systematically strengthen technical capabilities, promote best-practice system design, and accelerate the adoption of safe, reliable and cost-effective solar and energy storage solutions across Zimbabwe and the wider Southern African region. Through continuous training, hands-on demonstrations and open technical exchange, SAJ Lab helps partners deliver higher-performing systems, improve long-term reliability for end users, and support the transition to a more resilient, sustainable energy future.
